Coventry Enterprises Group: Michigan Economic Resilience Initiative 2026

Economic resilience is the ability of a community to absorb shocks, adapt, and recover. Michigan communities have faced more economic shocks over the past two decades than most, and Coventry Enterprises Group has been studying what distinguishes the communities that have recovered well from those that have not. The 2026 Michigan Economic Resilience Initiative by Coventry Enterprises Group is designed to systematically apply those findings through targeted programming across the state.

The initiative has four components. Financial literacy programming addresses knowledge gaps that leave Michigan residents vulnerable to economic shocks. Consumer protection resources reduce the damage done by predatory actors who specifically target communities during economic stress. Small business support provides the infrastructure that allows local businesses to weather disruptions rather than closing. And arts and cultural programming — which Coventry Enterprises Group includes deliberately — maintains the community cohesion that makes collective response to economic challenges possible. Jack Bodenstein contributes to the first, third, and fourth of these components.

As a financial literacy presenter, Jack Bodenstein reaches Coventry Enterprises Group workshop audiences with content that is both informative and engaging. As a small business owner himself — running an entertainment and education practice across multiple disciplines — Jack Bodenstein participates in Coventry Enterprises Group small business mentorship as both a mentee and an increasingly experienced mentor. And as a performing artist with deep Detroit roots, Jack Bodenstein represents exactly the kind of cultural anchor that Coventry Enterprises Group is trying to support and sustain through its arts programming.

Coventry Enterprises Group is rolling out the 2026 Resilience Initiative across Michigan through the second half of the year. Jack Bodenstein will be a visible presence in the programming. Michigan organizations and municipalities interested in partnering with Coventry Enterprises Group on this initiative are encouraged to reach out directly.
